Senior Pastor - Dr. R. Larry Snow
Reverend Larry Snow began his ministry as Senior Pastor at Murray Hills Christian Church on August 24, 2003. A Portland native, Larry graduated from Northwest Christian College in Eugene. He earned two advanced degrees, a Master of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry from Brite Seminary at Texas Christian University. For the past 15 years he pastored two Christian Churches (Disciples of Christ) in Missouri--most recently the Central Christian Church in Springfield, Missouri. Larry's wife, Joan (Prickett), grew up in Hillsboro, Oregon, and graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1971. They have two grown children, Melissa and Christopher. Larry enjoys outdoor events including road-bicycling. Larry is happy to return to the Pacific Northwest, and is excited to work with the congregation in discerning God’s will and claiming God’s future. You can contact him at larry.snow@frontier.com.

Chris started attending MHCC in 1957 and became church secretary in 1983. Chris is an active member of MHCC, participating in all aspects of church life, including serving as Christian Education Chair, a member of the Fellowship Committee, and as a deacon. In many ways, she is the glue that holds our congregation together. Chris is married to Dan McFarling and they have a grown daughter, Jennifer. Chris can be contacted at murray.hills@frontier.com

Minister of Pastoral Care - Dave Arnold
As Minister of Pastoral Care, Dave ministers to members and friends of MHCC who are shut-in, hospitalized or unable to travel to church. Dave, a native Oregonian, and his wife Gloria live in the Bull Mountain area of Tigard where they enjoy working in a large yard full of roses, flowers, vegetables, and fruit trees.
Following a stint in the U.S. Air Force, as a medical technician, Dave completed 8 years of theological education, graduating from Northwest Christian College in Eugene, Oregon, and The Graduate Seminary, Phillips University, Enid, Oklahoma. Dave has served as a pastor in Disciple Churches in Oregon, Oklahoma, and California.

Director of Children's Ministry
Kristy Brady has been a member of Murray Hills Christian Church since 1980 and has served in many capacities including Deacon, Sunday School teacher, and chair of Christian Education for 6 years. In April 2009, Kristy became the Director of Children's Ministry.
Kristy received an Elementary Education degree from Western Oregon in 1993 and a MAT from Pacific University in 2000. She has been a middle school teacher in the Beaverton School District since 1995; however, during her teaching career Kristy has taught all grade levels. MHCC is very pleased to have Kristy's experience and enthusiasm as Director of our Children's Ministry!

Music Director - Dr. Jerry Harris
Jerry was called as Director of Music in November 1998. He has 40 years of choral-orchestra conducting experience in public schools, including the Beaverton School District. In addition to teaching elementary, middle school, and high school choirs, Jerry also directed university and adult choirs. For 11 years he was choir director at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Beaverton, Oregon. Presently he is an Adjunct-Professor at Portland State University. He is active as a choral music clinician, adjudicator and festival director. As a composer, arranger, and editor of choral music, Jerry has published over 500 compositions. Organist - Cheryl (Miller) Young
Organist - Cheryl (Miller) Young
Keyboardist Cheryl Young has been Murray Hills Organist since 2006. She received a Bachelor of Music Performance in Piano from Marylhurst University in 2008. She performs music professionally both as an organist and pianist and also teaches piano. Past organist positions include Hillsboro Christian Science Church and Portland First Congregational Church. She has given solo organ recitals at the Old Church and First Baptist Church in Portland. As a pianist Cheryl has had extensive experience accompanying vocalists, instrumentalists and has performed as accompanist with the choirs at Walla Walla College, Portland Community College and Marylhurst University. She is active also as a solo pianist for charity, special events and private parties such as the Northwest Independent College Business Officer's Association, Oregon Women's Forum and Margaret Sanger Donor Appreciation Dinner at the Lawrence Gallery. She has performed as a soloist with the Marylhurst Symphony playing Bach both on the piano and harpsichord. Besides her first love of music Cheryl enjoys gardening, photography, writing, traveling and spending time with her cat Lucy.
