Hightimers

For more than a decade, the Murray Hills Hightimers, senior citizens and retirees, have met on the first Sunday of each month (except during the summer months) for FOOD, FUN, and FELLOWSHIP at the church or at various restaurants and homes throughout the area. Monthly programs are varied and projects include:

• Help with installation on the Flagpole
• Angel Tree Project…”Caring enough to Share”…Raised $75.00 for children of prisoners to attend summer camp
• Support Don Eatons “Small Change” project
• “Tools of Hope” project (Church World Service)
• Salvation Army Christmas Bell Ringer program with Youth!
• Contributing to the fund for upcoming new playground equipment.
• Collecting bathroom supplies at each monthly meeting, such as; toilet paper, soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, to take to Tigard Good Neighbor Center.
